Our Story...
In March 2020, when the pandemic closed bars, Jessie turned her time at home into a new venture by creating her first small batch of lavender bitters. What started as a personal project quickly grew into Bewitching Bitters, a women-owned business offering small-batch bitters and other bar products. Though the journey has been slow at times—especially after COVID-19 affected her sense of smell—Jessie’s commitment to quality and creativity never wavered. As production slowed down, Jessie decided to incorporate her love for hospitality and teaching into adding customizable bar services to her business.
​Jessie Leigh, a career bartender with over a decade of experience, has showcased her cocktail talents at events like the NY Cocktail Expo 2017 and was a finalist in the National Bulleit Bourbon Bartender Brawl. Now based in Charleston, she has also competed in various contests, including the first Tales of the Cocktail Foundation's Good, Clean, Fun: The Ultimate Espresso Martini Competition in 2024. As a creative and passionate professional, she founded Bewitching Bitters to share her love for craft cocktails through hand-crafted bitters and syrups.
Originally from Long Island, NY, Jessie continues to evolve her business, also offering mobile bar services for private events and classes. Bewitching Bitters represents her dedication to elevating every drink with unique, flavorful ingredients.
